About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

About You

You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. You will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to work with children and young people in a therapeutic capacity.

What We Offer

We provide a comprehensive induction programme, regular supervision, and tailored training workshops. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and young people, and to develop your skills and experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
  • Work with children and young people in a therapeutic capacity, using a range of techniques and approaches.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Contribute to the development of our therapeutic services and programmes.
Requirements

You will need to be a qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. You will also need to have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to work with children and young people in a therapeutic capacity.
