Customer Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Account Manager to join our team at Dovetail HRS. As a key member of our Customer Engagement Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, including delivering demonstrations to upskill customers on our product portfolio and selling additional products and customer service.
  • Build relationships with existing customers through outbound prospecting using a combination of phone, email, LinkedIn, and Teams.
  • Work alongside colleagues in the Customer Engagement Team to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for all products available.
  • Deliver excellent customer service for new and existing customers via email, phone, and virtually.
  • Understand existing customers' challenges and build solutions to help overcome them.
  • Attend regional and national events to build brand awareness.
  • Deliver demonstrations via Teams to prospective, new, and existing customers to 'bring to life' the products.
  • Undertake research and profiling to source new opportunities and grow existing customers.
  • Win new deals and achieve new business revenue targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience winning new business customers, working in similar sales, Account management or business development roles.
  • Experience managing sales processes from start to finish – from identifying new prospects, securing initial meetings, carrying out demos to successfully onboarding of new clients.
  • Ability to manage solution-led sales processes, tailoring solutions to reflect challenges care services may have recruiting or training staff.
  • Strong communication skills, confident talking to customers of different levels and roles.
  • Able to use initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent office/IT skills: able to use MS Word, MS Excel, Google/Microsoft Docs, spreadsheets, email.
  • Strong literacy skills: able to construct and write emails using correct grammar and spelling.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, team player, keen to make a difference and grow with the company.
  • Flexible and responsive to changing business priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of the Customer Engagement Team.
  • Organised and methodical.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Willing to try new things.
