About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled IT Security Consultant to join a well-established IT Consultancy firm in the UK. As an IT Security Specialist, you will be part of a small team delivering projects to a mix of customers across the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scoping of customer requirements, working with the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Practice Lead and Business Development Manager to identify GRC opportunities
  • Delivery of GRC consultancy projects to a range of customers across the public sector and corporate sector
  • Providing internal support to key business functions within the organisation around GRC
  • Developing and implementing effective security strategies to protect against cyber threats
  • Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT audit, ISO 27001, CISSP/CISM, CIS Assessments, NCSC CAF Gap Analysis, and ISO Services
  • Strong understanding of AI data governance, third-party risk management, and VCISO support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
