The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering our Home Respite service in Lochaber. You will provide person-centered support to carers and their loved ones, enabling them to take a break and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respite care to individuals in their own homes, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with carers, families, and other stakeholders to develop personalized support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Home Respite service, ensuring it meets the needs of our service users.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • SSSC registration and PVG membership.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
