About the Role

Childs Farm Ltd is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our Sales team in the Grocery channel. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for managing select accounts within the Grocery and Convenience channels, while supporting our Grocery Sales National Account Manager (SNAM) in driving total Grocery channel strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead selected Grocery & Convenience accounts - Sainsburys, Morrisons, Waitrose, Nisa, Co-op - in line with channel strategy
  • Support SNAM on Asda and Tesco
  • Develop and implement a consumer-centric, brand building plan with all retailers
  • Build promotional plans with retailers, in line with promotional guardrails, maximising sales opportunity in key periods, whilst managing P&L and trade spend effectively
  • Promotional and post campaign analysis
  • Successfully launch NPD in line with brand strategy
  • Develop strong networks and partnerships across all relevant departments with all accounts
  • Ensure consistent excellent service to retailers, delivering a best in class approach
  • Work closely with Demand Planner to ensure forecasts are accurate and in line with targets and customer requirements
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in commercial function at NAE or NAM level
  • 2+ years experience working with at least 1 of the Top 4 UK Grocers, as well as other UK retailers, ideally Sainsburys and/or Waitrose
  • Team player
  • Analytical and detail orientated
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Highly operational
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized
