About the Role

Austin Banks is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and operatives to provide a professional, quality, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and monitor the financial performance of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial targets.
  • Liaise with designers, surveyors, and other external bodies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and maintain site safety standards.
  • Regularly review project progress and provide updates to senior management, highlighting any areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage the quality of workmanship, ensuring it meets company standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role, with a proven track record of leading and managing project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A qualification in Building Services Engineering or a related trade background, with a valid driving license.
