Job Overview

We're seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Facilities Manager to join our Facilities Management Team. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to the Heads of Service in the running of all services within the Facilities Directorate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to facilities staff, establishing and developing working relationships and regular communications between ward and departmental managers.
  • Manage facilities staff in line with Trust Policies and procedures.
  • Support the Heads of Service in the running of all services within the Facilities Department.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, the ability to motivate staff, and a proven ability to create effective working relationships and build teams. A GCSE level or equivalent education, numerical awareness, and the ability to write reports are also essential. Previous experience working within operational facilities is required.
