Role Overview: Within the RNN Group, there is a significant demand for Maths and English proficiency. In this position, you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance the College's offerings in this essential field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in A Level, GCSE Maths, and Functional Skills Numeracy to both full-time students and adult learners.
  • Utilize well-equipped classrooms and online platforms to facilitate learning, including the use of Google Classroom.
  • Inspire students to reach their potential through the provision of exceptional education and training.
  • Develop innovative resources that promote outstanding learning experiences.
  • Monitor and assess learner progress to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications:

You should possess at least an A Level (or equivalent) qualification in Maths or higher and either hold or be willing to pursue a teaching qualification. A degree in a relevant subject is preferred.

You should be adept at bringing the subject to life through a blend of practical, theoretical, and digital methods, engaging learners and equipping them with essential skills, knowledge, and behaviors for their future.

Departmental Information:

Your direct supervisor will be the Deputy Manager for English and Maths. You will regularly report on your objectives to the Maths and English Lead, covering various key performance indicators such as student recruitment, retention, anticipated achievement, attendance, and punctuality.

As part of a Curriculum and Department team, you will collaborate with fellow educators to develop and share best practices in the field.
