About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at BJSS. As a technical authority, you will interface directly with clients, representing our deep technical expertise. You will lead delivery teams by example, providing the insight to enable them to craft great solutions that delight our customers.

Our projects manifest both on-premise or in cloud, often driving business intelligence and machine learning capabilities, helping customers achieve their Data as a Service ambitions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing data platforms, including Databricks, data modelling approaches, and public cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Ensuring the security and privacy of data platform implementations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members to ensure they meet our exacting standards.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is:

  • Experienced in data ecosystems, including data platforms, data modelling approaches, and public cloud services.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and C-Level stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to balance innovation and intellectual rigour with pragmatism.
  • Constantly driven to learn and improve.
