NRL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a leading process/manufacturing facility in Teesside.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the plant is operating at maximum efficiency and capability to meet business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all duties are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance notes.
- Lead daily operations of the business unit.
- Manage overall manufacturing operations capacity and interactions between departments (manufacturing, supply chain, etc.).
- Lead improvement plans to achieve budgets and overall performance targets through the management team.
- Lead the operations team to deliver operational excellence, ensuring individual and departmental performance targets and KPIs are met.
- Achieve and exceed EBITDA target by ensuring revenue targets are achieved and costs are controlled in line with business objectives.
- Manage human resources to maximize performance, carry out line management functions relating to personnel issues.
- Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to contribute to and shape operational strategy and thinking.
- Ability to demonstrate team leadership and managing others, delivering strong results.
- Plan and coordinate the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.
- Establish and control conditions of production to satisfy customer and quality specifications.
- Participate actively in standardization, cost reduction, and budget management.

- Degree-level or equivalent in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Experience managing at a senior level.
