Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging situations, using therapeutic approaches to support students.

  • You must have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
