Your Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients within our specialized neuro behavioural rehabilitation service. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert occupational therapy interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Leading and supervising a team of therapists, ensuring seamless service delivery across various areas.
  • Developing innovative treatment plans that motivate and empower patients to regain their independence and improve their overall well-being.
  • Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Continuously seeking new and creative approaches to address the diverse challenges faced by our patients.
Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  • Experience working within inpatient mental health adult services or similar settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the occupational therapy assessment process.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively and provide mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Commitment to service improvement and innovation.
