Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injury and stroke, or progressive neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists, overseeing service provision and providing supervision to junior staff.
- Deliver innovative interventions to motivate and engage individuals, improving their occupational skills and mental wellbeing.
- Assess, intervene, and evaluate progress in line with multidisciplinary care plans.
- Develop and implement new approaches to working with clients with complex needs.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of inpatient mental health adult services or equivalent.
- Clear understanding of the occupational therapy assessment process.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
