Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at J Matthews Legal. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our clients in the media, sports, and entertainment industry.

About the Role

This is a brand new position within our legal team, offering a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial and media-focused matters. You will report directly to our General Counsel and will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients in the media, sports, and entertainment industry
  • Work on a wide range of commercial and media-focused matters, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement legal strategies
  • Contribute to the development of our legal team and provide guidance and support to junior lawyers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Significant prior experience working in the media industryAt least 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
