About the Role

We are seeking a talented Brand Manager to join our client, a leading wholesaler of hair and beauty products, in a fantastic opportunity to help the brand grow and achieve its ambitious targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, development, and growth of the brand, working closely with the General Manager to develop strategies for growth across new product development, product design, in-store merchandising, promotions, customer acquisition and retention, digital and printed content, and social media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a 12-month rolling brand calendar to drive business growth and engagement
  • Create and manage marketing material with external agencies to enhance brand visibility and appeal
  • Oversee the marketing budget, website, and social media accounts to ensure effective brand representation
  • Develop and manage brand ambassadors to promote the brand and its values
  • Measure and report on new products launched to inform future business decisions
  • Conduct monthly sales analysis and insights to identify areas for improvement
  • Visit suppliers and customers, and conduct market research on competitors to stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager with a strong track record of success
  • Ability to manage your own workload in a stand-alone marketing role with minimal supervision
  • Experience in managing new product development, websites, and social media to drive business growth
  • Background in the beauty industry or other FMCG environments with a deep understanding of the market
  • Skills in content generation, social media campaigns, and classic brand management programs to drive engagement and conversion
  • Enthusiasm to make a significant impact with a growing brand and contribute to its continued success
