Become a part of our Defence Infrastructure team as a Site Operations Manager. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to regulations in high-stakes construction initiatives. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve secure and effective project results.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Designer Coordination:
Ensure adherence to CDM regulations by liaising with the Client and Principal Designer.
Contractor Management:
Collaborate with senior site management of external Principal Contractors to oversee and synchronize all project activities.
Project Coordination & Meetings:
Facilitate regular meetings to align all parties and guarantee safe and coordinated project execution.
Oversight & Compliance Checks:
Conduct audits and inspections to uphold high safety and quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Engage effectively with stakeholders regarding safety, quality, and project advancements.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:
NEBOSH Certification
A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction.
IOSH Certification
Experience with water-retaining structures in nuclear or regulated environments.
This role is umbrella contractor-based, with a permanent staff option available. It is a full-time position requiring on-site presence five days a week.
