About the Role: A prominent Infrastructure Advisory firm is seeking experienced Procurement professionals to enhance their Advisory team at a Senior level.

They provide a comprehensive range of services to clients within the built environment, encompassing advisory, construction, engineering, digital solutions, sustainability, and project & programme management. The firm is known for its outstanding workplace culture and offers employees the chance to engage in some of the most intricate and innovative projects that positively impact communities and businesses.

Team Structure: The successful applicant will be part of a compact procurement team consisting of approximately 8 members, integrated within a larger Advisory group of around 120 professionals. The role will involve a hybrid work model, with a presence in the office a few days each week, and will include managerial responsibilities for 2 consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert procurement guidance and execution capabilities to clients managing multi-million-pound capital initiatives and projects.
  • Implement best practice procurement strategies, oversee tender management, and conduct tender evaluations across both public and private sectors to achieve measurable value and sustainable results.
  • Contribute to project business cases, strategies, and delivery frameworks to instill robust and practical commercial and procurement methodologies.
  • As needed, offer commercial insights and assistance to clients in defining, negotiating, and awarding a variety of standard and customized contracts.
  • Assist colleagues and the organization with business development efforts to expand Procurement Advisory services, including lead generation, proposals, and requests for proposals.
  • Engage with clients to present project findings and explore new opportunities while nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with decision-makers across a diverse range of clients, engaging with key stakeholders in the infrastructure sector.

Industry Exposure: The firm operates within the Infrastructure sector, with significant involvement in Transport, Rail, Highways, Energy, Utilities, Renewables, Construction, and Engineering. The incoming candidate can expect to gain experience across all these areas.

Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining time in the office, client sites, and remote work. The team is distributed across various locations, with a strong presence in multiple regions.

Compensation: Salary is negotiable, reflecting experience and performance throughout the selection process.

Qualifications: Candidates must hold MCIPS certification, possess Management Consulting experience, and have primarily worked in permanent roles.
