Operations Manager / Assistant to the Managing Director

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills? Do you have experience in managing administrative teams and ensuring smooth business operations?

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager / Assistant to the Managing Director to join our team at mbf. As a key member of our IFA business, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing our admin and paraplanning team, and working closely with the Managing Director and other Financial Advisers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage New Business Processing and on-going annual reviews of existing clients
  • Maintain compliance by liaising between our network and the company to ensure policies and procedures remain compliant
  • Assist the Managing Director in the annual audit of company methodology documentation
  • Assist with monthly Adviser Performance Reviews
  • Manage Administration and Paraplanning Team
  • Improve current client communication and engagement processes
  • Manage client servicing and communication
Requirements:
  • People management - ability to draw together, manage, and work alongside differing personalities and departments to achieve optimal results
  • Impeccable written and spoken English
  • Technologically competent, with experience using new software and back-office systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Co-Pilot
  • Experience with mail-merge/bulk-emailings, Docusign, and preferably bulk client acquisitions and onboarding
  • Review and upkeep of company HR policies and procedures
