Regional Field Manager (Water Sector)

£45,000 - £50,000 + Commission + Company Car + Progression + Up to 41 Days Holiday + Fuel + Enhanced Pension

Are you a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer eager to elevate your career in a dynamic role? This position offers you the chance to be a pivotal player in the expansion of a thriving company while enhancing your earnings through commission.

In this role, you will oversee the growth and profitability of the After Sales and Hire division in the Southern UK. You will lead a dedicated team of Field Service Technicians, ensuring seamless operations across the region while working from the head office.

If you possess a HNC level or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have a commercial mindset, this opportunity is tailored for you. You will be recognized for your talents and rewarded with substantial commission and guaranteed career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company's offerings to both new and existing clients to drive sales of equipment and installations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to boost sales of equipment, spare parts, and hire services.
  • Conduct inspections of machinery at client sites, generate service inspection reports, and prepare quotations and service proposals.
  • Follow up on quotations to convert them into successful sales.
  • Advise clients on optimal products to meet their requirements.
  • Coordinate resources with Contracts Engineers and Installation Supervisors for service, installations, and commissioning in the region.
  • Manage the Regional Installation Supervisor to ensure timely installation delivery.
  • Develop the regional business strategy in collaboration with the Field Operations Manager.
  • Ensure sustainable regional activities and maintain budgetary control for growth and After Sales delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Field Managers to optimize resource utilization across operational regions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in managing a team of Engineers.
  • Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.
