We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Bridgnorth. As a key member of the Engineering & Manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate equipment failures and recommend improvements to minimize downtime
- Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives
- Carry out plant/equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Provide technical support to production teams to ensure minimal downtime
- Attend maintenance meetings to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives
- Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics and ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
We offer a competitive salary range of £28,704 - £47,391.50, depending on experience, plus a 25% shift allowance. Our client also offers a company pension or auto-enrolment scheme, free onsite parking, and a great opportunity to work for a growing manufacturing business.
