Female Support Worker

Location: Melksham (Transport required due to limited public transport availability)

Pay Rate: £12.57 per hour with additional night enhancements

Shifts: 21:30 - 7:30

We are seeking genuinely caring and proactive Support Workers who are passionate about improving the quality of life for those we assist. In this role, you will empower individuals to achieve greater independence in their daily routines while collaborating with a dynamic team to support a diverse group of people.

Our residential service, Peel House in Melksham, provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where each day brings new experiences. You will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we support by teaching essential life skills, assisting with personal care, and providing encouragement throughout the night.

This position is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact in another person's life, helping them build confidence and independence to reach their personal goals, whether that involves preparing meals independently or embarking on a holiday.

We value both the right experience and the right values in our Support Workers. Therefore, it is essential that candidates possess a full driving license due to the location's accessibility challenges. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and composure, as well as experience in implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practices. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, complex health needs, PEG feeding, insulin management, epilepsy, and CPAP is also required.
