Exciting Opportunity in Policy and Regulatory Affairs

This is a fantastic chance to be involved in shaping and reviewing current guidelines within a heavily regulated business. You'll provide essential policy and administrative support – working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and interpretation of legislation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and clear advice on interpreting the current regulations to colleagues across departments.
  • Liaise with other teams and agencies to review and update policy and related guidance.
  • Assist the administrative officer in answering queries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Review and improve standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency of the Legislation Office.
  • Draft policy position papers, briefings, and reports for senior managers and government officials.


Key Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent Communication: Strong ability to write concisely and clearly, ensuring complex information is easily understood by a range of audiences.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to consider the wider implications and policy context when responding to enquiries from stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and with external agencies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Outlook to produce high-quality documents and manage communications.
