Role Overview:
In this role, you will assist the inspection and quality assurance teams by conducting evaluations and testing throughout three phases of production. Your responsibilities will also encompass the calibration of measurement instruments, aiding in the First Article Inspection process, performing internal audits, and engaging in practical problem-solving to enhance processes and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and generate dimensional reports for newly developed or modified components.
- Ensure that dimensional reports or First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation are accurately completed and properly archived.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using established protocols or techniques to facilitate component inspections, including the development of programs (preferably using Aberlink software) as necessary.
- Manage inventory within the inspection workflow, including the rejection of non-compliant items.
- Address quality concerns through systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Provide support to the supplier quality engineer or inspection team during peak periods or in the absence of team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, metrology, and CMM operations.
- Proficient in using various mechanical inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, and CMM.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and utilize necessary equipment to identify discrepancies.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to unexpected situations.
- Possession of NVQ/HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- A valid driving license and passport are required.
