About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Coventry City Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support classroom teachers with the education of children in school.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
  • Use relevant technology and equipment to support teaching and learning.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Good level of English and maths - Level 2 preferred or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required.
  • Commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem, and progress of everyone at the school.
  • Personal skills and qualities required to form positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
