About the Role:

Anson McCade is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our growing Radio Frequency (RF) Seekers team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple Seeker programmes, including Future Cruise Anti-Ship Weapon (FC/ASW) and Meteor, and contribute to the development of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and highly integrated multi-mode sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake system studies and performance analysis to inform systems design and development.
  • Foster innovation through the use of agile methods, process improvements, and machine learning/AI in our products.
  • Identify, plan, and run investigations to inform systems design and development.
  • Analyse data to inform design and development decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and documentation.
  • Model and code using MATLAB and Simulink, with a focus on RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to improve product performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink, with a focus on RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
