NFU Mutual is on the lookout for an experienced Lead Insurance Placement Specialist to enhance our National Intermediary Services team. The successful applicant will take charge of overseeing the arrangement of commercial and mid-corporate new business and renewals, while also facilitating negotiations with insurers. A comprehensive understanding of the general commercial insurance landscape, along with specialized knowledge in commercial lines, High-Risk Liability, Complex Property, and London Market Placements, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the arrangement of primarily Large Corporate, Complex, or Multi-class solutions.
  • Manage the placement of commercial and mid-corporate new business and renewals.
  • Enjoy hybrid working options with up to 60% remote work availability.
  • Identify avenues for product and pricing enhancements.
  • Negotiate and implement agreed improvements to sustain competitive edge.
  • Participate in meetings with our office network to develop new business pipelines and discuss upcoming renewals.

Candidate Profile:

  • Preferably Dip CII qualified.
  • Experience in trading within an insurer or large broker in a market-facing role.
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Capability to lead and drive performance through collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
