Position Overview:
We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity with Imperium Recruitment Ltd for a skilled Automation Support Engineer. This role is integral to the success of our client, who specializes in innovative solutions for Automated Warehouses and Distribution Centres worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address automation faults and breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and implement modifications to control systems.
- Prioritize issues systematically, employing structured problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to tackle complex challenges.
- Provide technical assistance for modifications, maintenance, and upgrades of existing safety and PLC Control Systems.
- Perform system checks on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/ONC.
- Proficient in fault finding and making modifications to Siemens PLC.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Motors, and Safety Circuits.
- Familiarity with fault-finding on industrial networks, including Asi and Profibus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £52,000, depending on experience.
