Coburg Banks is seeking a talented Senior Support Engineer to become part of our innovative team within the insurance sector. As a member of a larger financial services organization, we pride ourselves on our cloud-first approach, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance our operations.
This pivotal role is ideal for an individual with a solid understanding of Azure, who is eager to advance their career in a predominantly cloud-based environment. The position allows for a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance a couple of days each week.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will possess substantial experience in a 2nd/3rd line support capacity within a Microsoft-centric organization. Proficiency in supporting the Microsoft 365 suite is essential, along with a strong foundational knowledge of Azure, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Collaboration with the IT Manager will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Given our cloud-centric infrastructure, you will also be responsible for maintaining the security and availability of our systems to the highest standards.
This position is well-suited for someone who is passionate about Azure, has recent relevant experience, and stays informed about advancements in the field.
Qualifications
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Support Engineer with a strong background in a dynamic IT environment and recent exposure to Azure technologies. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience as a 3rd Line Engineer, with a focus on Azure technologies.
- Proven experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Solid understanding of Azure networking principles and cloud security best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) is advantageous.
- A willingness to engage in various IT-related tasks.
