Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the development of clinical services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic nurse to take on a leadership role in our Day Unit. You will work closely with our Senior Sister to lead the team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in driving quality improvement and developing clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of clinical services and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Work closely with the Senior Sister to lead the team and drive quality improvement
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced nurse who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong background in clinical leadership and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will also have a recognized teaching/assessing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
