Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Rig Controls Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical specialisms in industrial control systems and test data acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement industrial control systems and test data acquisition solutions to meet project requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to communicate project progress and results.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks associated with test rig operations and data acquisition.
  5. Participate in the development of training methodologies and materials to enhance team capabilities.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the test centre.

Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in delivering projects to time, cost, and quality.
  3. Proven expertise in industrial control systems (MOOG / MTS) and test data acquisition (HBK / Catman).
  4. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, particularly servo-hydraulic control.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Proven track record of delivering results.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite.
  9. English language proficiency at negotiation level.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in structures, materials, or systems testing.
  2. Experience in managing suppliers or participating in supplier selection.
