About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Swimming Teacher to join our team at Keynsham Leisure Centre. As a key member of our swimming team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons and leading a team of teachers to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and professional image of the Centre by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
  • Ensure the safety and control of pupils during swimming lessons and enforce all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Lead and motivate a team of teachers to deliver lessons in line with our product manual and ensure a consistent approach throughout the Centre.
  • Coordinate and manage the swimming teacher team, including registers, grouping swimmers, and managing ratios.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their teaching skills.
  • Monitor pupil progression and update records to help pupils achieve their goals.
  • Assist with new-enrolments and re-enrolments as required.
  • Encourage pupils to enroll on further courses and short courses.
