Swimming Teacher Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Swimming Teacher to join our team at Keynsham Leisure Centre. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers, adapting to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of customers at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with customer enrolments and re-enrolments, providing excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to the development of swimming programs and initiatives, working collaboratively with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • STA Award or Certificate level or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
  • National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (desirable).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including Child Protection Policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
