Job Summary
As a Fire Protection Project Engineer, you will lead main contract fire sprinkler projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Project values range from £100k to £5m across sectors like retail, manufacturing, warehousing, and commercial. Your responsibilities will include leading project meetings, maintaining project records, and communicating with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders.
  • Production and maintenance of project programmes.
  • Communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintenance of central project file records.
  • Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.
  • Completion and submission of end-of-project documentation.
  • Ensuring installers are adequately briefed and competent to fulfill project requirements.

Quality and Compliance
  • Familiarity with and compliance with company and regulatory processes.
  • Completion and submission of project Quality Plans (as required).

Commercial
  • Identification and invoicing of variations to contract.
  • Raising of final accounts.
  • Undertaking and recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
