Job Title: Procurement Manager - Infrastructure

At Pontoon, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for negotiating complex supply agreements for the delivery of network infrastructure and connectivity hardware, software, support, and maintenance services across the UK and Central Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the infrastructure and workplace technology teams in procuring colleague and customer hardware, including self-service checkouts, PDA, scanner devices, main bank tills, servers, and storage facilities, as well as associated device peripherals.
  • Negotiate contracts for the supply of Telecommunication services, including customer Wi-Fi, mobile connectivity, and call centre solutions.
  • Support the cloud and workplace technology strategies by negotiating high-value cloud consumption and software licensing agreements with Microsoft.
  • Work with senior Technology colleagues to provide contractual guidance, sourcing options, and support, project delivery, and supplier relationship management.
  • Actively minimize revenue and capital costs through improved use of tools and processes, achieved through a combination of influencing others and robust planning.
  • Consistently track and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories using the agreed process.
  • Use good judgment to build new and develop existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and create greater value across the organization.
Requirements:
  • A number of years of procurement experience across Infrastructure, Hardware, and Telecoms.
  • Ability to work multi-functionally and engage senior colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial savviness.
  • Knowledge of supplier relationship and performance management as well as category planning experience.
