Job Overview
Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Import LCL Clerk to join our team in a Freight Forwarding organization. As an Import LCL Clerk, you will be responsible for handling LCL Import shipments for airfreight and seafreight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Raise invoices and internal files to maintain accurate financial records
- Pass supplier invoices for payment processing
- Communicate with Shipping lines, hauliers, and depots to arrange collections and deliveries
- Ensure all customer deadlines are met, and deliveries are made on time
- Monitor and follow up on shipments to ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
- Proven experience handling LCL import shipments, including airfreight and seafreight
- Proficiency in CNS, Destin8, or Multi-freight systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
