Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology Team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist tertiary level psychology services to patients with acquired neurological conditions.

About the Role:

As a Principal Psychologist, you will work closely with our Neurologist and neuropsychiatrist to support patients with conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist tertiary level psychology services to patients with acquired neurological conditions
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Assess patients and provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our neuropsychology service

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology or equivalent
  • Experience of working within an inpatient neuro-rehabilitation, community or outpatient neuropsychology setting
