Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible General Assistant to join our team at Speedy Services. As a General Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot, working closely with colleagues to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily depot operations, including making deliveries and collections, assisting with vehicle loading and unloading, and electrical testing of equipment.
- Contribute to stock control, including manual handling of items such as fence panels and ground mats, and using a pressure washer to clean them.
- Support customers on the hire desk, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Participate in stocktaking and use computer systems to record details and prepare orders for hire.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt quickly to support colleagues and deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
