Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team at German Doner Kebab in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and leading a team of Front of House staff to achieve sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Oversee and manage the Front of House area, including supervising staff, managing stock, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and profit.
  • Train and develop Front of House staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the General Store Manager to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive and professional working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Front of House Supervisor or Duty Manager in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to train and develop staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
