We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Lead to join our team at People Group. As a MEP Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the installation of mechanical and electrical packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Project Management:** Manage and coordinate the installation of mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • **Collaboration:** Work closely with consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • **Safety and Quality:** Manage safety and quality aspects of the project, adhering to company procedures and industry standards.
  • **Programme Management:** Prepare and manage project programmes, including delivery strategies and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • **Communication:** Ensure effective communication between all parties to the contract, including stakeholders and project team members.
  • **Risk Management:** Identify and predict potential delays, and implement remedies to mitigate risks.
  • **Stakeholder Management:** Keep project stakeholders informed of progress and any relevant issues.
  • **Scope and Budget Management:** Review project scope and manage budget and schedule, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • **Cost Analysis:** Perform cost analysis as required, to ensure project financials are accurate and up-to-date.
  • **Design Reviews:** Participate in design reviews, ensuring that project designs meet company standards and industry best practices.
  • **Continuous Improvement:** Review issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive project excellence.
Requirements

**Background:** You will have a background in project management or engineering, with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.

**Skills:** You will be digitally astute, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

**Experience:** You will have experience working on MEP projects, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector, or have experience working on commercial builds or major projects for a main contractor.
