Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of merchandise. Unpack, label, and tag products accurately and efficiently. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, including stockrooms and shelves. Perform regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Stock Replenishment: Work closely with the management team to prioritize stock replenishment tasks. Ensure that stockrooms are adequately stocked to meet customer demands. Restock products on the sales floor promptly and maintain appealing product displays.
- Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using designated systems. Generate and process purchase orders and return merchandise authorizations. Assist in handling product recalls and returns in compliance with company policies.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with store associates to understand their stock needs and priorities. Communicate effectively with the management team regarding stock-related issues. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Support different categories on the shop floor, when asked to. Foster client loyalty by warmly welcoming, attentively understanding, and exceeding their needs at Sephora, including introducing complimentary services and utilizing digital tools to enrich their experience.
- Prior experience in stock management, inventory control, or related roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic products is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
