Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Groupe Clarins. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels and product availability, aligning with Group guidelines and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and product availability, ensuring alignment with Group guidelines and targets.
  • Analyze demand forecast accuracy and sales trends for promotional lines, identifying and addressing any issues.
  • Track key KPIs including fill rate/service level, forecast accuracy, and stock coverage, driving ad-hoc analysis on stock performance and monitoring overall performance.
  • Advise on adjustments to the replenishment plan, defining priorities and necessary actions in cases of shortage or overstock.
  • Identify potential risks to customer service and work with cross-functional teams to quantify and mitigate impact.
  • Recommend actions for safety stock adjustments, manage dead stock depreciation, and propose transfers, ensuring system updates are accurate and timely.
  • Communicate inventory reliability to key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales at both local and global levels.
  • Track stock shipments to ensure on-time delivery to warehouses and customers, analyzing KPI data to monitor performance against agreed lead times.
  • Work closely with the Supply and Demand Planning team on product and stock issues, collaborating with distribution on corrective actions for faulty products and managing the credit process.
  • Prepare and defend inventory review proposals at regular meetings with key stakeholders, supporting the Supply and Demand Planning Manager in implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Confident in negotiating, decision making, and presentation skills.
  • APICS or other forecasting certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the industry or similar setting with end-to-end supply chain understanding.
  • Knowledge of SAP/APO/M3/DMP/JDE, Manugistics, or Oracle Demand Planning or other software packages including Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel.
  • Proven capability to analyze and synthesize data.
