About the Role

Nicholas Howard is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the mortgage industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing relationships with intermediaries in your allocated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Development: Create, manage, and develop relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  • Support and Collaboration: Support Business Development Managers with all mortgage and loan case management for broker partners and accounts, including outbound sales, inbound enquiries, chasing terms and deals, meeting booking, and proactive account targeting.
  • Market Research: Identify appropriate firms to work with and ensure that any reports and CRM systems are kept up to date, accurately recording discussions and activities.
  • Business Development: Contact potential new brokers for introductory business and ensure that our products are front-of-mind and that all intermediaries are updated about new products and features.
  • Customer Service: Speak to our introducers and handle new business enquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience within a sales role would be highly desirable.
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task to ensure SLA's are met, confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections, excellent call handling, listening, and influencing skills, and ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear, relevant, and interesting way.
  • Knowledge and Qualifications: PC literate with a good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
