Position Overview:

The Logistics Associate role encompasses a variety of warehouse responsibilities, including occasional administrative support during peak times and holidays. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, demonstrating efficiency and commitment in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and a moderate level of physical fitness, as it involves significant manual handling during the picking and packing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the unloading of delivery vehicles and shipping containers, as well as verifying incoming stock
  • Picking and packing orders for shipment
  • Conducting periodic stock checks
  • Providing administrative support during busy periods and holidays
  • Maintaining clean and organized workspaces

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and diligent
  • Physically fit, as lifting is a significant part of the role
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting, or relevant retail experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Forklift license (Aislemaster/Counterbalance) is advantageous
  • Experience with Sage/SAP is a plus
