Accountancy Firm Seeks Semi Senior Accountant

**Job Summary**

Puro Accountancy is assisting a reputable accountancy firm in Oldham with their search for a full-time Semi Senior Accountant to join their experienced team of accounting professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare statutory accounts for a diverse range of businesses, including companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Work on special projects such as cash flow forecasts and business plans to aid clients in securing financial support.
* Provide mentorship to junior team members as needed.
* Manage a portfolio of clients to foster strong partnerships, assisting them with day-to-day operations such as management accounting, VAT returns, and integrating cloud accounting solutions.
* Handle bookkeeping tasks and prepare VAT returns.
* Gain experience in income tax and corporation tax calculations.

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 2 years' experience within a UK Practice Accountancy firm.
* Proficiency in Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, and other Accounting software.
* Ideally will be qualified or part-qualified but will consider someone looking to work towards a qualification.
* Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels.
