Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be integral to the firm’s financial management, handling a range of essential tasks, including:

  • Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Account Rules and all statutory requirements
  • Managing costs and providing training to staff
  • Conducting bank reconciliations and overseeing ledger management
  • Administering billing processes and credit control
  • Processing various financial transactions
  • Handling fee-earners' billings, time-recording, and costs
  • Preparing end-of-year accounts
  • Managing payroll and petty cash
  • Submitting VAT and other statutory returns
  • Facilitating BACS and CHAPS transactions
  • Executing electronic payments and conveyancing completions
  • Reporting financial data at the partner level
