Project Overview

We are seeking a Senior Scientific Officer to join our newly established team within Prof Owen Sansom's laboratory. This team focuses on the interactions between cells during tumor initiation and tissue regeneration. The successful candidate will be tasked with collecting and analyzing data from in vivo experiments, as well as conducting in vitro experiments utilizing organotypic cultures.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in cell biology or a related field, along with relevant work experience. A solid understanding of fundamental molecular biology techniques is expected. Experience with mouse models and organoid systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently while also collaborating closely with project-associated scientists. Strong motivation, effective communication, project management, and organizational skills are essential. A flexible working approach is required, as occasional weekend work may be necessary.
