Job Title: Digital Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Digital Test Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of testing activities to support and deliver R&D projects to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver testing activities to support R&D projects, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with the Test Management Group to ensure project delivery, including arranging feedback hearings, interrogating data, and summarizing project proposals.
  • Test and evaluate vehicle systems and products using digital and physical evaluation methods.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to plan, prepare, and manage delivery and reporting of testing projects.
  • Prepare and issue necessary documentation to the business according to project schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and coordination of engineering project activities.
  • Manage project documentation and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Present testing status and concerns to Milestone Meetings and the Chief Vehicle Engineer.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years industry experience, preferably in an automotive testing environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to proactively identify tasks, track, monitor, and report on assigned activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Desirable: knowledge and experience of the Automotive industry and project management, data analysis, and logical electronic file management and storage.
Working Hours and Pay:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 39 hours per week
  • £27 per hour
