Job Overview

Important Notice

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Paediatric Continence Service as a Staff Nurse. The successful candidate will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide expert advice and support.

Main Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people, making autonomous decisions regarding their care, and working closely with the wider team to provide supervision to School Nurses.

You will also be responsible for liaising with other agencies within the local health economy to develop an effective and coordinated approach to client care, providing information and education to parties involved in care delivery, and participating in audit and review of the service to monitor quality and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a SCPHN degree or equivalent in School Nursing, with current NMC registration. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
