Job Title: Insurance Partnerships Manager

At Lawes Consulting Group, we are seeking an experienced Insurance Partnerships Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing, managing, and advancing our global network of carrier partners, ensuring their profitability, integrity, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to allocate premiums among carriers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carrier partners, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Lead regular steering and review meetings to secure buy-in and drive commercial goals.
  • Ensure the timely renewal of Delegated Authority Agreements (DAA) contracts and maintain existing underwriting capacity.
  • Supervise the onboarding of new carriers and lead initiatives to augment underwriting capacity.
  • Exercise oversight and assume ultimate responsibility for ensuring all activities under delegated authority are conducted in accordance with DAA contracts.
  • Chair Product Committee and ensure technical outcomes meet established criteria.
  • Provide expertise to internal and external stakeholders on product risk and ensure timely compliance with FCA responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with departments to achieve corporate and departmental objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in partnership management within global MGA/Delegated Authority frameworks.
  • Strong technical skill set to influence, manage, and guide critical insurance partnerships.
  • Expertise in owning and supervising delegated authority activities, including technical performance, claims management, underwriting, processing, governance, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with key risk management and general insurance principles, including UK/European/London markets.
