Senior Audit Manager

We are seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join our team at the National Audit Office. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a key role in leading complex projects that inform debates and influence government decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit projects that scrutinise public spending and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement effective audit strategies to achieve real impact
- Collaborate with colleagues to produce high-quality written outputs that are accessible to non-specialist audiences
- Work with stakeholders to identify and address key issues affecting government programmes and projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic background and experience in managing audit projects
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working in a similar role or in a related field, such as internal auditing or value for money auditing
